1️⃣ Title, Description, and Rate Section
This section marks the beginning of your journey in publishing ebooks on Amazon KDP. There are lots of things to do here but don't worry, it's not difficult. The things you will be doing are:
*Writing the title of your ebook
*Writing the sub-title of your ebook. It's not compulsory anyway. You can choose to leave it if your ebook has no subtitles.
*Write the name of the author and contributors of the ebook. The author is you. Write your name there. But, in case you received any assistance from a friend while writing the ebook or a friend of yours wrote a page, chapter, or two you can write his or her name in the contributor space.
*Choosing the age or the set of people that your ebook is for
*Select the category of your ebook. For example, if it's an educational ebook, select education and also tick ✔️ all the subcategories that relate to your ebook.
*When you are done click on save and continue to the second section.
2️⃣ Uploading of manuscript and ebook cover section
When you are done filling the first section, the next step is to upload your ebook manuscript and the ebook cover that you've designed. Below are some of the steps and guidelines to follow
*It's advisable and also good to have your ebook in word, epub format, and not pdf format. Amazon prefers ebooks to be in WORD format. If you upload a pdf, you will be notified that if you have the word format you should upload it but click on continue if you do not have it.
*Your ebook cover must be in JPG format and not PNG if not it will be rejected.

3️⃣ Pricing and publishing stage
Congratulations! You made it. In this stage, we will discuss the price and how you will publish your ebook. The steps below will guide you.
*In pricing, it's good to make your ebook affordable so that you can make a lot of profit. Choose a price like $4 to $5. Amazon allows you to choose between $2 to $9.99.
* royalty is of two types. You can either choose 35% or 70%. That is up to you
* When you are done, enroll your ebook in kdp select.
